World Mission International Director and Team from Church of God International Headquarters visited Guyana

World Missions International Director -- Dr. Douglas Leroy and team recently visited Guyana. He was accompanied by Kevin D. Brooks (Communications - Church of God), L.H. Carver (Church of God - Men & Women of Action) and others. Dr. Le Roy officiated at the dedication of the Bless the Children Home/Orphanage at Industry East Coast Demerara at 7 pm on Saturday September 27 and was the Guest Speaker of a special service which was held at the National Cultural Centre on Sunday 28 at 10 am. This service was specially arranged for all churches in the county of Demerara. However, pastors from across the country attended. What a blessing it was!
The Education Director took the opportunity to discuss matters regarding the Bible Institute with him. Dr. Le Roy, out of much concern promised to see what he can do to improve education and training in Guyana. Since his return to Cleveland, evidence of his promise materlized. He spoke with Bill George - Co-ordinator of Education World Missions and he will be shipping in text books for the Bible Institute which should arrive in Guyana by November month-end. I also received a detailed e-mail from Dwain Pyeatt - International Co-ordinator Ministerial Development/School of Ministry regarding materials for Ministerial Studies. Thanks Dr. Le Roy for your prompt action.
